The Homelighters, based in Circleville, Ohio was founded over thirty years ago by twin brothers Kermit Haddox and Kenny Haddox.  Kermit is the only remaining member of the original group.  The goal of the Quartet was, as it is today, to provide a ministry that is dedicated to presenting Jesus Christ to the unsaved person as the only hope in the world today and to encourage those Christians who are in need of spiritual renewal.  The Homelighters have had a part in many people surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ over these many years.  The present members feel that they were called to serve in this music ministry and that our singing ability is a gift of God and must be used to lead others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  While we hope that we are entertaining, our main concern is presenting the message of Jesus Christ and the plan of Salvation in song.

The Homelighters have received many blessings over the years: In 2001 we were recognized by the Ohio Christian Music Association as Quartet of the Year at the Ohio State Fair and honored by a proclamation from Governor Bob Taft. In 2007, at the Gospel Music Tour Convention in Cave City, Ky, we were blessed by winning the talent contest.

Nothing would please us more than to be invited to sing at your Church, Festival, Fair or any other venue that wants to present the Gospel in Song.
